Lifestyle: ELEVATED Clothing and Le Medaillon Champagne It wasn't long ago this spring when Le Medaillon and Elevated decided to team up and bring some quality champagne into the action sports realm. Banding together with such a cool and high profile company like Le Medaillon has been a lot of fun for us as we've gotten to celebrate major wins and company triumphs, pop champagne, and really just goof off that much more. We're looking forward to further inclusion of Le Medaillon into the action sports scene and hoping that our athletes can continue to enjoy the crisp bubbles on hot summer days after riding their hearts out. Here's a little bit of the fun we've been able to have with this company, even getting a bottle into Rusty Malinoski's hands during Spring Ride '14 in Lathrop, CA for the win. As with all of the companies we work with, Cheers to a long and fruitful relationship. Pun intended.

7 JulWe've just heard the news that Pro Wakeboarder Brad Smeele had a terrible accident wakeboarding this weekend and is in critical condition. Our heart goes out to Brad, who we've been blessed to encounter numerous times over the last two years and who has always been a bright beacon of love, respect, and awesomeness in the wakeboard industry. He's a huge role model and friend to many riders and an incredible athlete. A page has been set up to take donations to help get him home to New Zealand to recover with his family. Please give whatever possible and spread his donation page around. http://www.givealittle.co.nz/cause/bradsmeele GetRead more »

Lifestyle- Swedish Photographer David Thornell is a good friend of our's here at ELEVATED. He runs StreetAddict, a store in Gothenburg, Sweden, and he has the luxury of traveling the world taking pictures and exploring his creative side. This post is dedicated to his work, which we're confident will show you a more in-depth look at America than you're used too. We all see it, day to day, but it takes an artist to capture images like these and present them in a consistent form of "lifestyle" that showcases certain side of life throughout the US. Read our interview with David below and then check out some of his captivating photography. [caption id="attachment_5824" align="alignnone" width="700"] Biggie Smalls[/caption] [caption

It's Easter Morning family. This is the highest Holy day for Christians all over the world. But many Christians, and non-Christians alike have no idea of the actual importance of Easter. We know it's "A day to reflect,"... We know that we say to people things like "He is Risen," and they respond "He is Risen indeed." We know that this day represents the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. But do we know that it's more than a day of representation? How many of us let it sink in that this day, Easter, is not merely a day of representation, but a day of true hope? A day of Remembrance. When we reflect, remember, and study, that on this Easter day nearly 2000 years ago, the God who created us in love, who made us in His Image... The God who stepped into the world to live amongst us, (Who took on flesh and bone and lived a sinless life amongst His creation to give them(us) hope, direction, instruction, and light) rose from the dead. That's not some mystical thing that Christians

The Creativity and Heart of this is just simply inspirational. It reminds me to dream when I create, and create when what I dream. The question I'm left with for all of us is... Are you out living?

We all need a little inspiration from day to day, as well as a reminder to live outside of ourselves. After all, love makes the world go around. Often life gets the best of us and puts us on our grind, working towards our dreams, our goals, and our passions. Those are great things, but don't forget to lift your head up, take a deep breath, and look for an opportunity to share the blessings God has given you, for out of giving we also receive. --- Magician prankster Rahat wanted to give a gift to the homeless guy who lives down the block from him. Rather than simply giving the guy a handful of cash, the YouTube user instead wanted to provide an experience and allow the man to feel like he literally had won the lottery. When tears start flowing on both sides you'll realize just how touching your actions can be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Lki_IeM6bQ
